About

Brittany Payjack is a professional show jumping rider and trainer born in Manitoba, Canada. Having loved horses from an early age, she took any opportunity to ride and by the age of 8, was competing on the local hunter/jumper circuits throughout Manitoba. After high school she moved to Ontario where she remained active in the sport working with her retired race horse competing at the 1.30m (4’3”) level, riding at an A rated show facility, and attending a secondary program studying Equine Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology.

Upon returning to her family farm in Manitoba, Brittany went to work rehoming numerous rescue horses and successfully giving them a second chance at life – many of which are still active in the sport of show jumping, x-country, hunter and dressage.

Her love of horses and thirst for knowledge moved her to British Columbia where she purchased a young potential jumper. It was there she stayed to develop and train with Canadian Team rider, Gary Brewster, and rode frequently at Thunderbird Show Park.

When Brittany returned to Manitoba, she trained and competed with Eastridge Farms at a high level both locally, out of province and out of country on personal and sales horses. Her first professional position was at Bosch Farms where her love of the sport flourished, riding and showing numerous young quality European bred horses at the highest level.

From there, Brittany began working for Lorrie Jamieson at Klondike Victory Farms starting young horses, training horses and coaching students. Wanting to grow her knowledge internationally, Brittany was given permission by Equine Canada to travel to Ireland to ride and compete under renowned riders such as Edward Doyle, Gerard Clarke, Roberto Lubrano, and Robert Harrison. It is there where she apprenticed for Sneezy Foster at a top racing yard and was given the opportunity to compete in the open jumpers on a number of quality horses.

Brittany currently owns and operates BP Sport Horses, a successful training facility and sales business in Anola, Manitoba while also competing at the grand prix level across Canada and the USA.

Her experience developing young horses up to high levels in the sport, as well as her background with difficult, second chance horses makes her a knowledgeable and patient mentor for both horse and rider. Her honesty and integrity in horse sales, training, ownership, and care ensures that every horse she has the opportunity to care for is given the best quality she has to share- compassion.

Brittany Payjack is an Equestrian Canada Licensed Coach and has recently completed her apprenticeship with the Ride Well Method where she acheived her Certification.
